On the baptism entry of Williams' son George, William was listed as a Wool Comber. Information from the parish record St Marys.

William married Mary Mason, daughter of James Mason and Ann, 13th September 1824 in Leicester, St Mary's. (Mary Mason was christened in Oct 1803 and died ? When George was young..)

William next married Martha Paddy.
