Ty Canol, the home of the Tyson family in the mid 1800's, the building no longer exists, the ground on which it once stood is now somebody's garden in Blaenau Ffestioniog. We believe the building was actually two dwellings, so it must have been very "cosy" inside!

John and Margaret Williams, my Great Grandparents, who were the parents of my Gran Annie Williams (whom I never knew, sadly). Margaret was the daughter of Ann Tyson and Samuel Samuel Jones. John and Margaret lived at 1, Richmond Terrace, Blaenau Ffestiniog from the time it was built. This photo was believed to have been taken around 1890, but I can't be certain.
